History

Engel Europa was founded in 1982, for the design and manufacture of machinery for the HVAC industry.

The very first Autofold 416 was delivered in 1984, and was the original ducting coil-line to be designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom. Since then, over six hundred machines have been produced and shipped worldwide.

The Autofold has been much copied over the years, but a program of constant development and innovation has ensured that the Autofold range remains at the forefront of coil-line technology.

The world's favourite compact coil-line

The Autofold 416 was discontinued in 1985 to make way for the Autofold 516 so that both 4ft and 5ft coils could be used.

Through strict quality control we include the highest grade materials in our machines, we maintain exacting tolerances to ensure maximum reliability of all machine parts. Machine assembly is performed by skilled technicians, who test each component prior to final assembly.

All machines carry one year parts and labour warranty supported by a complete after sales service.

Safety of operation has been a major development factor of the Autofold range resulting in a number of unique safety features.

All Autofold 516 machines carry the European CE mark and the SMACNA award for Machine safety.

Engel Europa International Limited is still a family run business and has supplied automated ducting machinery for both large and small projects in 53 countries around the world.
